Robert Larkins, the man seen with Lisa Alexander and part of the white couple who called the police on someone stenciling "Black Lives Matter" outside of his home, has been fired from his job at financial services firm Raymond James.

The company Raymond James published a statement on Twitter on Monday June 15 stating that it had conducted an investigation into a video "alleging racism by one of our associates," and that the associate was no longer employed at the firm.

KPIX 5 confirmed on Monday that Robert Larkins was no longer employed at Raymond James.

Both Lisa Alexander and Robert Larkins have issued apologies to San Francisco resident James Juanillo following the incident, which spread across Twitter in a viral video filmed by the man.

All they had to do was mind their own business and keep walking. I guess that's too hard for some people.

This is fricked up. What they did was wrong, but the whole idea of getting somebody fired for such a minor offense is horrible.

This movement is going down many scary paths. My guess is what will happen next is a manager or supervisor at company (pick one) will have a photo of them standing during a national anthem while some around them kneel. The direct reports of that manager will complain to their HR and “boom” that manager is out of a job or will forced to publicly apologize. If anyone says that can’t happen then they have not been paying very close attention to events of the past three weeks. Dissent is not allowed. Bend the knee or sacrifice all you have.

Welcome to 2020 where if you don't apologize for your white privilege, take accountability for African slave owner selling slave to the British and bringing them here over 200 years ago and feel bad for lazy people not wanting to work and rather take your money that you have worked for then you're a racist and should be fired from your job.

The guy also could have just said he owned the place for 18 years and maybe they all would have learned a lesson.

It's a minor offense until the cop who shows up is all jacked up on power and this escalates into something much worse. It happens

I don't understand the idea behind firing these people? What is the basis for termination? Are all these companies going to get the shite sued out of them?

A question for the 6 people that have downvoted this statement.

Did you downvote because you think this can't/isn't/won't happen?? Just look at Mike Gundy who got in deep shite for the t-shirt he wore on an a fricking fishing trip! Had it been a CNN shirt would we have ever heard anything about it?

fricking thought police.

Remember when companies said, “We do not condone these actions. His opinions are his alone and not supported by the company.”?
