Will be at the Mariott Riverwalk on business this evening. Co-workers dont join me until tomorrow afternoon.

Is there anything worth doing solo on a tuesday night there? Already checked out the hookers & blow, nothing great there.

Theres an Irish Piano bar that was kinda cool. The mexican place with all the multicolor umbrellas wasnt bad, and you can sit on the river.

You could walk over to the Alamo.

The whole area is very touristy, but you already know that.

Walk over to the Alamo, walk around the Riverwalk getting a margarita a couple different places while relaxing on the patio.

Don't venture up on the street out of the Riverwalk too far after dark. The cops keep the dirt out but not too far away, SA can get pretty shady.

Yeah, I had a cop tel me San antonio is a fricking hellhole of crime. I just looked up the statistics. Your more than twice as likely as wing a victim of a violent crime as the average for Texas.

Eat at The Luxury. It's on down the riverwalk away from the tourists. Restaurant made out of shipping containers on the river. Great food. Outdoor dining. Very nice at night.

And at some point take a stroll through Market Square and buy some Mexican crap for cheap. You never know when you'll need a luchador mask. Best place to find good clay bean pots for cheap also.

If you want to take a short drive south for the best chicken on the planet then go ahead and go to Pollos Asados Los Nortenos for lunch. It will blow your mind.

You'll thank me later.

You know the drill..walk around the river walk, go to the bars, drink a beer or two at a few different bars, eat some mexican food, call it a night

I'd go to Boudros... Food was pretty damn good when I went earlier this summer. The whole river walk thing was kinda meh though. Barely any bars... Prolly better off getting some food at Boudros then hanging out at the hotel bar. We went to the bluestar brewery just up the road. Serve only their stuff... Tried a few and it was good as well.

Good luck, I guess.

Past correcting the typo, I've got nothing (literally or figuatively) for you.
