Probably something wrong with the scribulator mother board.
Repair will be about $350.
Korean garbage. Brilliant investment.

Same problem. Long reply but here we go.
Called place I bought it. They told me to call Samsung who would tell me it was out of warranty (over a year old). But don't panic, I had an extended warranty through the dealer which I did not realize. He told me within two weeks if the folks with the extended warranty hadn't fixed it, they'd simply give me a new one which they in fact did.
So, the delivery guys show up and tell me they can't take the old fridge back as the extended warranty people don't want it. So I moved it on the back porch of my camp and it runs fine, just no ice.

I know a guy in Lafayette who can repair any appliance.......but when you call the first question he asks is if it’s a Samsung. If so, he won’t even look at it. He said it’s complicated smart tech garbage

Happened to mine, called on last day of my warranty. They replaced with a new model ice maker and the repairman said the old model was faulty and they will replace if you call and have that model. They did say they were replacing all people who call and still have a warranty before replacing others.

Same problem, previous owners left the fridge with the house. I know why, Samsung makes garbage everything.
Call Samsung, they have so many people call about shitty fridges they even offer store credit. However who would ever buy their shite.

Ice maker assembly on my Samsung fridge broke a few months ago, so mine doesn’t make ice either.
Had a guy charge me $45 to diagnose it and quoted $400 to repair it. I said screw that and found the part itself on Amazon for $120 and watched a few YouTube videos on replacing it. Seems pretty simple, but I keep putting off ordering it.
But I grabbed a few ice trays a while back on a trip to Kroger and just make ice the old school way. Once a few trays are full, I dump them into the bucket and repeat.
This thread reminds me I need to order that part from Amazon.

Drain tube is clogged and water freezes and backs up and seizes everything. Find drain tube and clean the guck out of it.

Had the same problem and the fix is to run a hair dryer on it for about 5 minutes and then hit the reset button. The "fingers" should rotate and it should go back to normal. If that doesn't work, hit with a blow dryer again until it does work.

Our new Samsung's ice maker is always freezing up as well. The old Whirlpool that sits in my garage has an ice machine that keeps on kicking.

you need to seal around the outside of the box that the icemaker is in. It's a flaw with Samsung's design and after a couple of years the the seal starts letting air from the fridge in which is causing your issue.
watch this and a $5 tube of silicone will fix your problem.

Ours has the same problem. It's been supposedly fixed & replaced 2.. still some issue
After going on Samsung's Facebook page, I learned that most do and there's a class action. Probably won't do any good. class action info
