I need 10-12 ribeyes or strips to grill for Saturday. Sam's has them for $8.99/lb and Costco has them for $7.99/lb. Stopping on the way home from work to pick them up today. Which has the better quality meat in your opinion?

I've had them both. I personally prefer Costco, but I wouldn't say there's a huge amount of difference.

I have memberships to both and I've found this to be the case as it relates to meats. Costco is obviously better at most everything else, but the Sam's meat quality is on par IMO.

Costco had USDA Prime ribeyes for $37/3pack the other day when I went. Great prices for great meat. Also their Organic ground meat is awesome imo

you can get 2 qualities of meat at Costco, "Choice" and "Prime."

All my steak comes from Costco and I buy "Prime" you'll get a significantly higher quality of meat by purchasing prime at just a little more cost.

Their NY Strip steaks "Prime" are outstanding. I'd recommend buying the entire roast and hand trimming (youtube videos for this if you've never done it). You won't go wrong.
