This has happened more than once.” No way a man should be present when girls are dressing or undressing. How is it not policy in 2015 that a male coach can't be in a female locker room when kids are dressing! This is f-ing crazy. This post was edited on 11/18 at 10:56 pm
What if he thinks he's a girl? TRIGGERED

They didn't quit. They did what they wanted to and when they had to deal with the repercussions, they claimed perv. If that was the truth, I see no school backing the coach and standing behind them being kicked off. Like I said, if he was doing inappropriate things, they had a right to be pissed and demand a resignation. The way they did it makes it seem fishy. I've played sports and my dad was a high school coach in pretty much every sport at one time or another. I've been around dugouts and sidelines my entire life and I've seen how crappy high school athletes can be. Especially in basketball. There was a revolving door of coaches who had to deal with those players.

Questions abound:
1. Prior to this incident, did the students report any of the "touching" or lingering? They had every right to leave at any point but if this was the first time anything was said, it is pretty shitty to leave your teammates like that.
2. When Bountovinas was hired, did the AD ask why he left MCA? Did the AD call MCA's administration and ask about him?
3. Was there a power struggle between the players and new coach? Some players really struggle accepting change and act out in defiant ways
4. It sounds funny to ask this but "what was the context of the touching? Where did he touch?"
5. Were the parents (angry at the choice of hire) fueling the fire that lead to the walkout?
As a coach myself, it is impossible not have some form of contact with a player especially when demonstrating defensive positioning.
This guy won a state championship and left. That raises a red flag to me when he returns to coaching the following season

Maybe he identifies himself as a woman.
Has anyone asked him?

oh shite he actually touched her shoulders...I was thinking this would be about patting her on the arse

He resigned from Mount Carmel before last season, citing personal reasons.
Well, Mt Carmel and Jesuit are awesome at covering stuff up so it doesn't hurt their pristine reputation... So chances are something may have happened and they forced him to resign, which went unnoticed...
But who really knows....

From what ive heard, they quit, then tried to come back and he wouldnt let them. Now theyre saying they were kicked off and throwing other allegations out there. Its really weird.
Eta: and judging from people around salmen on facebook, there seems to be some questionable things going on with the parents of these kids as well.

I'm curious what the 5 players that didn't sit out have to say about the coach.

Cooper said that after Bountovinas was hired in June, parents had a meeting with Superintendent Trey Folse to “question the hiring process.”
It is important to note that the parents and player objected to the hiring of this coach from the very beginning, and that had a lot to do with the race of the coach.

Lol, such a lie. According to the US goverments own report in 2009 there were 19,000+ black on white sexual assaults reported to authorities but not a single white on black sexual assault reported and they expect us to believe he sexually assaulted 7 of them and they claim it AFTER they were kicked off? OK....
1. Why is this something you know?
2. wat

What if he identifies as trans? Isn't the norm in 2015 to let the person decide what sex they are? If he identifies as a woman then he can be in the dressing room according to the fricktard libs.

We all know we can't take any of this seriously until there is much more known. Lots of lies these days, and you can't simply take people's word at face value. Especially regarding these race/rape stories.
I genuinely think they are far from telling the truth.

I'm hearing an assistant coach walked out too.The coach that may be the one that walked out with the girls could be the assistant last year too. She was the mom of that "star player" that went to Baylor (Kalani Brown). She was a former player at Salmen and wife of PJ Brown. I think she was fully convinced she was going to get the HC job and didn't.
Just seems fishy to me...

If true, the assistant coach should be fired.

And now we know why the hiring process was questioned
Agree, fire the Asst. Coach if she walked out or is not happy with her role under the new HC.

I agree. She wasn't mentioned in the article but these are the stories being rumored. I wasn't there so...

Slow down there buddy. I was addressing a particular poster who was arguing the nuances of who should and shouldn't be called a phedophile. I was pointing out to him that arguing there was a difference between someone sexually attracted to a young child vs a young teenage girl is probably battle he didn't need to fight because even if he is right he's not really going to gain anything. I then pointed him to a different but somewhat similar argument that would allow him to better express his point of view.
