Lol, such a lie. According to the US goverments own report in 2009 there were 19,000+ black on white sexual assaults reported to authorities but not a single white on black sexual assault reported and they expect us to believe he sexually assaulted 7 of them and they claim it AFTER they were kicked off? OK....

No way a man should be present when girls are dressing or undressing. How is it not policy in 2015 that a male coach can't be in a female locker room when kids are dressing! This is f-ing crazy.

I absolutely agree.

However, you realize liberal fricktards like the dyke in Houston tried to vote that into law?

If the guy was a wierdo, this should be brought to the administration's attention, but not showing up to a game is a very crappy high school brat thing to do. I played baseball with a few guys like that. They didn't like the coach so they wouldn't take his signs and got the principal involved. Turns out we weren't winning because they sucked at baseball, not because of the coach. I feel like the coach could be a perv, but just as easily, these girls can be brats trying to get their way. Seems like the assistant coach would be taking a hard line on the girls side if she is a female herself.

If these 7 girls didn't feel comfortable around the coach what other option was there other than kicking them off the team? Firing the coach? Because they felt uncomfortable about him touching their shoulders? That's fair.

I mean if they don't want to be around the coach then they obviously don't want to be on the team. Sounds like they kicked themselves off.

While you may be completely right in what you are saying, there are some battles that aren't worth fighting because the price of victory is too high. Is it really worth it to take this position?

If you were arguing what should constitute someone having to register as a sex offender, then people might be more willing to listen.
thats right, if your on winning side, it's ok to be ignorant about what your calling people. America!

Coaches touch student athletes all the time in non in appropriate ways. Specifically basketball. If he's grabbing a tit or rubbing his junk on her thigh that's not appropriate. Squaring shoulders etc.. Is.

It sounds like they just didn't like the new coach and want him off the team any way possible.

Sibley's version is the only side being heard here. If the Coach is truly a sexual predator, he needs to be firmly and finally dealt with but a cabal of teenage girls with a mission against an innocent authority figure who has pissed the group off is not beyond belief.

tl/dr: Jury is still out/Jump To Conclusions is a dangerous game.

I would like to know the parents' complaints on the hiring process. I have a pretty good idea.

Sucks for the coach. These are strong allegations.

Wonder why he left Mt. Carmel.

Maybe they want a coach who is "more representative of them."

You know that slandering someone you don't like in order to force them out is all the rage now

A couple of observations when I read the story in the Advocate:

1. This sounds an awful lot like they just want to be involved in the national BLM / protest to demand something - anything.

2. If this is something more, why didn't the parents get together and go talk to the administration? Since when do high schoolers "protest"? What's next? Elementary school walk outs demanding double portions of apple sauce and no broccoli?

3. This guy has a decidedly European surname. Is he new to the U.S.? They have decidedly different standards regarding nudity in athletic situations than we do here. My friend swam competitively at a high level and related stories of Euro swimmers changing suits pool side and giving zero fricks. Certainly someone at the International School of Salmen thought to ask this?
