18z stronger...and east of 12z.
Does get to the MOTM but then the north turn starts.
Good model runs for Louisiana interests, not as good for Mobile. Waiting on ensembles now, but the track should again shift east come 10 pm

It is going north faster than the cone basically. Unless a drastic change I think the current track is too far west.

Models will lock in on MS/AL now that all the recon data is plugged into them.

Seems that technology is so advanced yet the weather is as uncertain as getting votes counted for weeks after a Presidential election.
All of that is compounded by people who know little-to-nothing about meteorology or weather models looking at them and thinking they are gospel or written in stone.
Also, not knowing how models and ensembles are gathered and run hurts people's perception of how accurate forecasting is or isn't.

He will see who the fricking moron is when he realizes the models actually have recon info plugged into them now and they’re gonna lock in on MS. I won’t have to say a word, he’ll see.
If I’m wrong I’ll eat my crow.

Jay Grimes is at a 3/4 sleeve roll, but we are still in slacks, this is decent news for the area. Stay tuned for our next update on GrimesWatch.

That would be a pretty radical move for just one cycle would it not?
Not really.
It's doing the same things at the same times on pretty much all the models, they're just slower in the first 24-30 hours and so it does the north turn to the east.

Duke, Is that approximately east of, over, or west of the mouth? SW Pass to the farthest east extent of the mouth is about 25 miles.
