Thanks ... I'm hoping that they have friends who live there (but evacuated) that can get back sooner than they'll be able to .. like I said the dad just died and it was his place. His poor family is dealing with a lot, as is everyone I know.

Did the new 3 mile bridge collapse or is it just impassible right now?

Truck flipped on Bay Bridge

Damn, I cannot imagine the feeling of helplessness that truck driver must have felt as he knew he was about to go on over.

Yes just saw, thanks for the heads up.. what's the odds a place on the way back to Louisiana can replace a front passenger side window in a Ford Transit passenger van? Didn't see anything on the ground but something busted it out.

Aunt just talked to the guy that lives behind their house in Ft Morgan. He rode it out and said it was a rough night. Lot of wind damage, but he hasn’t noticed any catastrophic from wind. He said they’ve had about 20” of rain though and a lot of areas are flooding. Aunt’s house had about a foot of water in the garage this morning.

I've had a few people pass up on buying my condo there strictly because they do not like the building. Im laughing because i bet that changes when people start looking to buy again

Any word on Fort Morgan area?

Not quite what you were asking but it looks like the west side of the bay got aboot 5" of rain and the east got 12. Ft. Morgan is pretty unprotected.

Good luck, Baw.
