Why did you stay?
I mean, a huge part of me is jealous but all you people staying at condos on the beach made some interesting decisions.

That is what I thought as well.

Zip ties just broke holding two of the chairs. Blew them across our 11th floor patio. Just opened the sliding door and grabbed them and pulled them inside.

My neighbors came home yesterday, a couple days early from their trip.

I haven't been looking for feeds tonight. I'm one screening it on my phone.

Well mainly because i thought it was going a little more west and we couldn't get a refund unless it was a mandatory evacuation.. it was only listed as a voluntary evacuation for Escambia county.. the owner let us come a day early without charging us so we didn't have to drive through the storm coming from Louisiana. And then after we got here and stayed until today, it was too late to try to rush driving out. Plus they closed several of the bridges once the wind speed got over 40 something mph.. didn't consider this storm could strengthen instead of weaken as it got closer to shore. All that called into one..

This is on the beach about half way between GS and fort Morgan.
It probably doesn’t tell the true story as it is streaming from the protected corner of an “L” shaped building

Maybe that will at least settle your wife's nerves a bit. Two less banging chairs to hear.
