Could you not close the eye off Sally?

The panhandle is going to verify this 20"+ number. Those long fetch bands rotating in are going to dump a ton of rain.

Evacuated to relatives in Foley. They know better, 2014/15 (cant remember) their street had to be rescued by national guard, parents walked to the truck in waist deep water. Neighbor had a heart attack during the ordeal.

Prayers for them. Wind damage like in SW La is awful — but I can’t imagine water damage on top of that.

TWC app track is drunk. Has it heading back NW for a bit.

Following NHC path. Strengthening phase has some funky movement and it juked east recently.

The eye has closed off again, we will see if it can remain that way for a while.

Your defense of New Orleans is impressive.

Why do you get so upset in these threads.

Tell me what I said was incorrect?

If you haven’t noticed I constantly rag on this shite hole.

Remember I know where you live so don’t get me started on shite holes.

Right. That’s over a 3 day period.

Fort Morgan Rd out by the Dollar General has had about 9" already today. At an inch an hour they will be at 12" by midnight.

My mom is without power. But my aunt and uncle who are right on the bay 3 floors up though, have power

Fewer trees right along coastline typically. Power generally seems to be holding in those areas so far tonight better than areas more inland.

That’s a lot of rain.

I don’t care what city you’re in, not many places can handle that amount of rainfall

970 mb
Wind data supports the 85 mph max.

29.4 N
87.5 W

I feel like that position is off some. It didn't move that far east.

How far from the coast are you? Are in an area that could take on storm surge?
