After going through Laura and seeing how little anybody in this state besides SWLA even cares, I hope it punches the rest of LA right in the mouth.

Get y’all some.

ETA: I am sorry.

frick off dick wipe. I spent two straight weekends helping strangers clear shite up out there. Tens of thousands around the state are helping in various ways.

What metrics did you use to come to this conclusion?

Does actually typing out the F word get me banned?????

I use it all the time which is kinda trashy of me
The only word that isn’t allowed that I’ve found is the C word that is automatically changed to count

I’ll give DD benefit of the doubt — I’m guessing that two weeks without electricity having to deal with this and a sucky employer, I’d be pretty off balance.

Hang in there Diamond. People haven’t forgotten and are helping daily.

Lol I don’t even say it out loud typically — there was that one time in labor that the doc wasn’t there and the anesthesiologist wasn’t here and the nurses had to deliver my baby. The word was flying out of my mouth — very ladylike though.

Seriously, how’d the pump situation there? I know I’ve read here that an afternoon pop up can strain the system.

Dude, I know you feel, Trust me. But if anyone IN THE WORLD knows what it’s like it’s SE Louisiana. We haven’t forgotten about you, I’m spending 3 days a week in Lake Charles right now. Help is coming, it just takes a while.

You might need to step away for awhile man, wishing that shite on others is just wrong
Tons of people on this site have donated, worked their asses off & sent supplies to y’all

I understand where you are coming from after the 2016 flood but I would never wish that on anyone

ETA
If there is anything that is needed that can’t be found locally let the board know, we will do what we can to help

Also, these things go in stages. Right now is the lull between emergency patching and rebuilding. People and businesses are waiting on adjusters, quotes, etc. by the end of next week you’ll see activity start to pick up again and it will start to feel like things are getting better. I’m in the tool business and I can see the trends shifting. Hang in there.
