Also, Market St. Is in a 6 year time warp. Nothing at all has changed except the name of the trashy supermarket by where the prison is

Once you have lived with San Antonio traffic or Washington D.C. traffic, Bossier has absolutely nothing that I would call "traffic"

We've had companies that want to come here but our local government and city council has routinely screwed the pooch on every opportunity. There are plenty of very well educated people that come here and do well though.

Morning commute isn’t bad pre730 and or when school is out. Airline and Benton Rd. can be a frustrating shite show at certain times though.

Funny how the rest of shitty Louisiana (may as well just say shitty Deep South) is throwing stones at Shreveport. I guess it makes people feel better for the shite in their life to say it's better that the shite in other's lives. It's like anywhere else that isn't one of the primo spots to live in this country - it's fine if you have money and a good way to make a living, and the nice thing is you have to look for trouble, it doesn't come looking for you unless you are involved in low-life activities.

I've lived with Birmingham (I65, 280),Philadelphia, NYC, and Jersey (it all sucks) traffic. You are going to have to live in Hong Kong if you want a hold-my-beer story.

Who cars about those places you mentioned if I am sitting on Benton Rd and I am late for an appointment. Bossier City and it’s sucky arse traffic is all I am worried about.

I have clients that live in that area, there is really no reasonable time of day where the traffic doesn't suck. Most of that is the simple fact that we give retards driver's licenses in this state.

Or the retards just drive without a license. Or insurance.

After having lived in Shreveport for a few years my take is that it is wasted potential. The city could do a lot but you have idiots running it. It is race based politics and toi much trying to spend millions on shiny objects (ie a crappy basketball team).

I moved from Shreveport to Texas. Can’t grow in Shreveport. The ceiling is astoundingly low and what jobs there are don’t pay.

Yep, and avoid Benton Rd going north from 4-6 every afternoon. Airline has plenty of lights that control the traffic so it's not nearly as bad. I make it home much quicker using Airline.
