The post he made is probably the exact type of post THF would appreciate. It was made in the exact context of humor that he espoused on here.

yeah i have your back on this one

you weren't mocking him or anything. THF had a good sense of humor

Terrible to hear. I remember him being very helpful on the recruiting board when I first started following it around the Russell Shepard class. RIP

Fair enough. However, I was trying to be mindful of those who don't follow the OT, particularly and perhaps his friends and family, who might stumble across this web site and start reading this thread and get the wrong impression.

Judging by his last post, he's with Harambe now.

well to be fair you posted a screen shot of his final post, which was #dicksout for Harambe

not exactly showing him in the best light there, if the response post did that

Just a very sad thing.

Obit says he leaves behind a fiance and child.

He usually had something interesting to say on the MB. Thoughtful poster.

He was a good guy

I didnt realize he was TheHiddenFlask until this thread though

Always kind to people and had a big laugh

and unfortunately the above poster is correct. It was suicide.

Man...

I know it's hard to convey things and read people on here but THF always seemed to be planning for his future and progressing in his career for this to be true. Not saying it isn't but that it seems so shocking based on his personality here.

You never know what demons people struggle with, though.

Quality poster. At least he got to chose how he left, relatively.

My buddy had a lunch meeting with him on Wednesday. We found out yesterday while playing golf.
