No. Taylor brought her out as a surprise guest at the NOLA Eras tour and sang one of her songs
She won't veer be as big as Taylor though. Her music is a little too adult to ever get the big big following of fans from a young age like Taylor was able to do.

She’s basically a 2020s pretty, blonde version of a 90s/2000s r&b singer

Keep in mind that Sabrina Carpenter is marketed towards teenaged girls as well as the 20-something sexually empowered feminists.
This is nothing new in popular music. I listen to some of the songs I listened to when I was a teenager and it’s pretty horrific looking back at it. It is what it is. I turned out pretty normal as did the females who listen to the same stuff generally.
ETA: all pop music is geared towards teenagers and has since the 50s at least. That’s who buys new music and goes the craziest over it. We are seeing the same cycle play over again that’s played since Elvis was devil music.

Tale as old as time, young attractive popstar drives controversy by being edgy.

That goes two ways. Posters trying to convince people they definitely know who this is, because she's famous/popular is funny to me.
Even if you have heard her songs, unknowingly, it doesn't mean you know who she is. OP could have made up a name for the picture and I wouldn't have known differently.

Which is an absolutely terrible song.
Don't forget about her latest hit "Bed Chem". This chick is an absolute whore.
At least Taylor has been able to stay popular without selling her body (to the general public at least).

Yea I can definitely only speak anecdotally on this one. I have a young daughter and know how most parents in teh groups we run in think, but there are others that are way too relaxed with what they let their children be exposed to.

Has anyone done this?

You got a link to her ever saying that?

I’d give them a pass on not knowing SC because she’s only been famous for like a year

Yeah i think she is pretty open about being sexual and real about it. I don’t think she’s being two faced.

Several of the first posts are a version of "who?"
And it happens in pretty much every thread about a popular person
Posted on 6/12/25 at 8:47 am to LNCHBOX
Yeah every thread about pop artists is a race for the boomers to say "WHO? NEVER HEARD OF EM!" Like we get it bro, you listen to Zeppelin
