Russia to test 'Satan 2' nuke capable of wiping out an entire nation

You keep things like this secret while they are in development. There is no need to keep a weapon purposed for nuclear annihilation secret as that removes it's deterrence effect and it's effect on giving the Russians geopolitical leverage. Keeping it a secret would only be rational if they were planning to use it offensively in a nuclear war.

We may have. The Russians are going balls to the wall to build up and modernize their entire military. They've come out with a whole new family of tanks, SP artillery, APC's, SAM's, and even nukes. It's almost like they're building up for a war. Only thing is who are they building up all this for? NATO is a shell of it's former self and is no threat. China has no desire to go after Russia. So why do all this? Makes one wonder what they're building up for.

The use of such a weapon would be so incredibly stupid.
The entire world would declare war on them and destroy them if they ever utilized a weapon like that.
And the fallout and clouds of radiation would circle the globe for years affecting the entire world.
