Right, which is why it bothers me so much. I don't want to support suppression, but it's overboard and overwhelming in media, movies, music, etc. It's really hard to not go all in.

It’s puzzling to me that there aren’t hordes of socially-conservative straight white men pouring into Russia. It has everything they want.
An authoritarian government headed by a macho, if diminutive dictator, “traditional values,” and rigid restrictions on queer people.
It’s power structure is 100% white, its military doesn’t allow women to be in combat or near-combat roles.
It’s a vast, sparsely populated land where you can get all the acres you need to have your own compound.
What is holding back the flood? Maybe a hope that Trump will win in 2024 and finish installing a Putinesque government?
Forget that. We saw in the latest national election that the 51% can exert their power. There will never be another Republican president or Senate and this is likely the last time the House will have a Republican majority.
Whitey’s American Dream is over. Time to start thinking about your Russian Dream. It has all the makings of the America that so many wanted but got screwed up when minorities started infiltrating the processes of government.
Go to Russia and insulate against the rest of the world. It’s a second chance opportunity that you shouldn’t pass up.

Granted, my definition of "don't care" includes doesn't like it but not willing to turn it off. If you can't turn it off then you effectively don't care. I for one don't watch something if I don't like it, but I also accept that I am the vast minority.
