I run in anything, but I think the answer is going to be Brooks. I know they have a bunch of different styles, they range from 100-150

go to a running store, talk to the experts, get fitted, try multiple brands and shoes, make ur choice based on what feels right for you, worth the price...

On Clouds are incredibly light and comfortable but God forbid you run anywhere that might have a rock because that mofo is getting into the bottom of your shoe. Definitely made for road running

There is no right answer. Many companies make really good shoes. What I would suggest is find a specialty running store in your area. They should be able to assess your gait and help you choose a shoe that’s right for you.

All depends on your foot and form. Get fitted by a pro. I have used Brooks Ravenna for years. Usually retails around $100 for current year models.

This.
Fit, support, and comfort vary from show to shoe and is not brand dependent.
I have fun in Brooks in the past and loved them. I have run in mizunos in the past and loved them. I am currently in Nike Air Pegasus and they are great too.
It depends on your needs and your gait.

Before the shutdown we went to the local new balance store ave was fitted. I learned that I was wearing a shoe that was 1/2 too small and I need s shoe that helps with flat feet.
New balance - sorry for the long answer

Many factors to this question. Are you flat footed or have a major arch? Are you a heel striker? What’s your pronation level? It definitely doesn’t hurt to go to a professional fitter and bring a old pair of running shoes so they can see the wear.

Nike Free used to be pretty good.

I wear UA HOVR Sonic
They have a cushioned sole so when you walk /run they give a little.
My herniated disk loves them
