You think he was slapping away a spider?

What's stupid about this is the reporter feels so violated she's going to parlay this into a career at a national network within a year. She knows what she's doing. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

different states call it different things... assault/battery +/- sexual

it's 100% unwanted touching. why is that so hard to control?

What a freaking victimized little child she is. Also she's so FOS her eyes are brown. If she had anything at all to her she would have went to another part of the race and tripped him when he went by. She is an embarrassment to women everywhere with her woe is me tirade.

Edit to add: Moved to Houston in my younger days and was without wife for a time. First night out to a club a tall good looking gal gal walked behind me while I was watching the dance floor and drug her hand across both my cheeks. I wound up at their table of course. That was part of the club scene there.

He was a fool to do it.

She is over-reacting.

Both of these things can be true.

I've had random women grab my arse before and I didn't consider it a big deal at all. That being said, the guy was an arse and shouldn't have done it.

It can be bad without needing to be on TV or otherwise publicized.

That's the blind spot people have developed over the last few years. You don't need to seek social media retribution for every stupid slight or provocation you experience.

The whole "he took my power" thing seems very extra and kinda stupid.
But come on now, we are adults. Don't touch random strangers. Touching a woman on the arse is never ok unless you and that woman have that type of relationship where it's understood that you can touch each other.

I know some guys like to think its funny and cool to hit random girls on the arse. But it's really not. It's just stupid. Keep your hands to yourself. It is not that hard. So no, I don't have sympathy for him.

Agree, but this is not a state or federal court. This is someones opinion on a message board. And if you believe that was sexual assault then you are part of the problem. Don't get me wrong, it was inappropriate and stupid but do you really think that dude should be prosecuted for Sexual Assault? I have daughters and I don't think so. You actually marginalize true sexual assault by doing that. That stance goes down a rabbit hole that puts us in a place where no one wants to be.

Endorphines....dude was high

Seriously though...shouldn't have done it. But banning from running races is a bit dumb...ike MLB banning the flashers at world series. He is now John Smith. Or Thomas Jones

I know things like that are frowned on in today's world.
That said, that reporter is a crying, sniveling, little milleneal snowflake.
I mean, what a worthless little bitch she is. Drama queen to the extreme.
I have none, and could never have respect for someone like that.
frick her and her stolen power.

Got a question for the people that have no issue with this. If I walk up behind your wife and slap her on the arse are we gonna have a problem or are you gonna let me just grab some boob too if I decide?

This sums up the dynamics of this situation pretty well, I think.

I'm no feminist whatsoever, but smacking the arse of a girl you don't know is downright sleazy and degrading. And just because you did it "as a joke" doesn't make it any better.

And every guy on this board knows damn well that they'd be pissed if they saw some random a-hole smack their wife/GF on the arse.

then the actual charge wouldn't matter... you're upset that someone threw in the word sexual, which in some states is a modifier that includes higher sanctions.

what exactly do you define sexual battery/assault to be in your message board opinion?

I'm not saying that I think it should be sexual assault (which would be sexual battery in FL and this doesn't satisfy the elements of).

It doesn’t really matter what bothered you or not though

This chick could have been molested, and therefore this is something that bothers her more than most

Or she wasn’t molested and she just doesn’t like being slapped on the arse. That’s perfectly normal. women are sexualized more than men too so it’s a bit different
