Nicest:
Joe Namath - got him to autograph (for my son) a napkin on a flight out of Florida and he not only signed it he wrote an inspirational message to him. (Of course he was drunk out of his skull at the time.)
Billy Cannon - classmate at LSU and interfaced with him many times, but also saw him numerous times in Junction TX where we ate at same restaurant during deer hunting season. Friendly, down-to-earth as can be.
Worst:
As an 8 yr old kid, I loved the Bowrey Boys and the one who played "Satch" made an appearance at the Vernon Theatre in Leesville, LA. I made sure to be there and afterwards I waited for him to appear. When he did, I ran up to him yelling "SATCH!!!" - he ignored me and I heard him say "let's get out of this fricking town." I was devastated. I'll never forget the disillusionment.
That is when I discovered that on-screen personas are different than real people. Until then I thought that all the stuff and people on the movie screen was real. Important developmental step in my maturation.

I met Dickie V,
He stopped to sign shirts for us, but didn't say a word even when we spoke to him and asked him questions. It was strange.

Met Renee Zellweger and she is as nice a human being as I've ever met.

It's a shame too cause Archie is so genuine and kind.
I'm not going to rip on the guy, but I'll just say that Archie has been really good at cultivating a persona.

For the "I hung out with/drank with/partied with" responses, did the celeb foot the bill?

Have met Will Ferrell and John C. Riley separately, both in Nola. My dad's pretty high up with the guys who run Baucus so we get to go to the breakfast every year and chit chat and eat with the king. Will Ferrell was cool but pretty hungover, but he seemed like a pretty genuine guy. John C. Riley was a fricking prick. Made it seem like just breathing around him was a waste of his time and he made it seem like everything was terrible, dude had the most negative outlook on everything and anyone other than himself.

i still remember the stories my friends told about what an enormous prick billy crystal was when he was the grand marshall for bacchus (or was it rex?) back in the early 90s.

Nicest - Aaron Neville (Neville Brothers) in Springfield, MO. I was playing piano in a hotel and he sat down just to listen. I briefly stopped when I noticed who he was. He asked me to keep playing and also asked who I was playing. It was one of my original songs, so I said something like, "I'm just tapping out chords sorta making it up as I go." He told me he was impressed and gave me his card and said, "Call me some time. You've got talent.
That was extremely cool. My mother is a huge Aaron Neville fan so she is a bit jealous of that story.
Not nice but not blatantly rude - Joe Montana last year in Springfield, MO to speak to a SW Missouri area high school athletes gala. He was downing beers (by himself) and just going thru the motions. No small talk. Sort of disappointing.

The guy who played Gareth on Waling Dead(Andrew West) and his hot wife from 22 Jump Street (Amber Stevens West) were both cool as shite when I met them at Carousel Bar last year.

Brad Pitt sat with me, my wife and our friends for about 3 hours at Circle Bar a few years ago. He looked like a homeless person so no one really knew it was him at first. We talked a lot about sports and the city in general. His realtor and business partner is my neighbor so once he found out we had a mutual connection he hung around for hours. It was a fun night. We didn't ask him for pics or autographs, well, because we're adults. When he left he thanked us all for being "normal chill people" and that's why he loves New Orleans.
That's awesome. Where did you hide your boner? I definitely would have gone with the waistband tuck technique.

My parents have been over to his house. Supposedly his son's room is bigger than most people's houses. My dad is s very very blue color and was amazed and disgusted that DL3 had napkins with his initials on them.
I love near a very exclusive resort that gets a bunch of celebs. I know people who work there. The general consensus was Adam Sandler was one of the nicest celebs but they said there have been famous people who've taken shits in the middle of their hotel rooms during a temper tantrum

A few years ago I was walking out of my office at a studio I worked at and ran smack into Dolly. She actually apologized to me. Was such a nice lady.
Also pretty cool to me was: John Gruden, Stephen Baldwin, John Fogerty, Vince Gill, Amy Grant.
Not cool: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood
I know Tim is a Tiger fan, but those three are not all that nice too often to the people that work for them.
