I'm very used to the trans era absurdity, but two things in this saga stick out as somewhat amazing:
- First, the comments on primarily sports media writings about this that are along the lines of "this is just hurtful, an abusive man just bullying by harping as a woman" with ZERO irony at all
- Second, the dudes (actual men) commenting about how they it's ridiculous to assume they could make a team and how the WNBA couldn't face credible legal arguments since neither could compete.
"OMG have you guys seen Enes play, he's not good?" with no appreciation of the obvious retort: "have you seen the state of the WNBA"?

It doesn’t matter if they believe what they are doing is for a noble cause because regardless it is for a noble cause. Their motivations are irrelevant. It’s not an exaggeration to say they are standing up against the destruction of civilization. I don’t care if it’s a grift to them or not.
