I had pizza last night at Pie Five. I don't know if there is one around y'all, but it's pretty good.

Earls? I wouldn't consider that a dive bar, it was just much smaller back in the day

Duvic's is definitely not the diviest bar in BR.

What is it with LSU/Baton Rouge and shitty bar names?
That's just bar names in general. Worked in Norman, OK last month, and went to a dive bar called The Deli. There is a small bar in Ocean Springs called The Grocery.

hell you transplant the 25-30yo's at duvics with the road hard put up wet's at The Jefferson, Duvics would be a Dive bar straight out of a movie.

Slinky's is pretty divey

Slinky's is pretty much the definition of a dive bar in my eyes.

I would just revert back to the original name "Pizza Hut" and only serve alcohol.

Every drink is served in a Yeti Rambler. THIS IS GOLD

The "dive" bar of baton rouge is Port Royal on College IMO

It's remodeled and not too divey on the inside.
Florida/Airline always had a few good ones. When I shot pool every day, League would sometimes be in complete shitholes or we would find the shitholes after.
Pete's Tavern. I think it's called the Nascar lounge
There is one around that area that doesn't even have a sign. You would never even know it was a bar. I was easily the youngest person in there every time I went. Trying to remember the name

There used to be a place on the west side of Nicholson across from the new sheriff station that would be considered a dive bar. I think it was more of a rastafari bar though. All they had was PBR and Heineken for beer, and crown and Henny for liquor. It was definitely dark over there.
I guess you could consider ZeeZee's a dive bar in some way. Not really many other options around.
IIRC, Rotolos on Nicholson was where the Pizza Hut owner was selling coke out of and got busted

That was the best pizza option in the area..
that place was so hit or miss we stopped going. From the consistency of the pizza to getting served with dirty cups that place needed to close or get new management

That's Club Culture. Olu used to run it. It's still there.

Ah yeah, I went there twice. First time, a young white dude tried to do open mic night/open DJ night, and he was so bad they just cut him off. Next time was with this young white chick and I thought they were gonna roofie me and take her out back.
Still nothing like what I have in New Orleans though

Yea they used to do drum N Bass, jungle, reggae jungle nights there once a week or maybe a month. Was cool because it stayed open later than 2am. Went for a few years
I only went there once not on one of those nights. Was drinking with a friend of mine and at 2am he said let's go there. I hesitated but he said dude you're with me no one is doing shite. He's about 6'5, 275 and black. We went and as we were walking in he got a frantic call from his gf so he said he would be back in a few. I walked in and was the only white guy there. Was funny because Olu immediately recognized me and all the people were like wtf this white dude just coming in here like nothing and chilling with the owner.
It's a stand alone building now. Drove by yesterday
