Besides it being dark, nothing about the place screams dive.
A dive bar to me does not have a specialty cocktail menu and a food menu with items like shrimp and grits, duck fries, boudin benedict.

Anywhere that has, or used to have, a martini list is not a dive bar. Closest in that area is ZeeZee's, or the now closed Happy Note

Someone told me it was stilled owned by Rotolo's and they're trying out a different concept.
