Not only is this an ignorant statement, but it does the opposite of what she wants.
Babying a race is like babying an adult. If they never have to fend for themselves, they'll always be reliant on the parents (or government) and never succeed on their own.

Because her comments, like many others over the past years, spread through the media and culture of this country.
It perpetuates the notion that blacks should be treated differently which hurts both whites and blacks in the long run.
