Just following Texas lead
He wants that federal money
He needs to get Biden to declare disaster area
I bet he don’t cut the governors mansion
Wonder how much entergy raises rates

Wait - we can keep this state a chill 72 degrees in July/August, but we can't keep homes in the 60s tonight because of "demand on electricity"?

Cooling is easily 3x as demanding as our ordinary heat demand. Even if this is roughly on par, something smells fricky.

you could literally make a thread about blades of grass and conservatives would overwhelm it feeling sorry for themselves

100k without power and there is still a strain on the system? Will the governor's mansion be a part of these rolling blackouts?

Exactly what I was thinking. But, I would kill for some power just for an hour or so to heat up the house.

Electric heat uses way more kW than central air. That is why most people in the state have huge electric bill increases in January and February.

bullshite. I wonder how many houses are heated by natural gas.

What would be the reason for rolling outages in Louisiana?

I must confess, I haven't had "electric heat" in over 25 years.

I did not know the difference was so stark.
