I visited Australia in 1998 and 99 and lived there from 2000-2004. I’m here now visiting for the first time in 21 years. The wife (no pics) is from here and wanted the kids to see it and meet extended family, etc. It’s changed too goddamn much and not for the better. I appreciate and love the US of A.

I’ve left the country - Mexico, England, France and Ireland

I don’t get the fascination with Mexico or other Central American countries.

I've visited 21 foreign countries so far... Mexico, Canada, and the rest European.

It definitely helps broaden my view of the world.. hard not to.

There’s a lot to see and do, and it gives you a fresh perspective and appreciation for life. But I’m not judging you do you.

I've realized there's a lot the US gets right, but there are lots of things that other countries get right, better.
But also, humans are the same no matter where you go - they want to live, have fun, love, enjoy their families, etc, wherever you are.

Exactly…honestly, I was suprised just how happy people are in pretty much every country that I have been to. Incidentally, they were equally suprised how happy I was with life in the USA. It seems all of our governments stretch the truth a bit telling us how much better things are in our particular country than the rest of the world.

I have been all over southeast Asia and China.

Made me appreciate freedom and a good toilet.

Really want to make a Laos & Cambodia trip.

I've lived in 4 different countries outside the US. Currently live in Germany and will probably stay here permanently. The work life balance is truly outstanding.

I left they states to travel a US territory. We went to the Virgin Islands a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I would do it again in a heartbeat

I’ve only been to France 3 times. Paris is great for a few days but it can get really stressful with all the tourists and tourist traps. I really enjoyed renting a car and driving around. It really is enjoyable and their autoroute system is nice. Last year I drove to the Alps with my SO and it was something we won’t forget. I hope to one day return.

Sad that most everyday Americans have no idea how horrible it is elsewhere in so-called good places of the world

Have Left multiple times. Always joke that even wealthy Louisianans are bordered by Schlitterban/ Tx Hill country to the west, Co (Skiing vacay to the Northwest, Broken Bow OK or that country music town in Missourah that has all the same traps/tropes of Gulf Shores, then Nashville and Smokies to the Northeast and by God don’t go past the panhandle in Florida, it’s all yankee past there

Europe when I was 12(before 9/11).

It was amazing experience.

Unfortunately, England and France are being conquered and subjugated from within, and will eventually cease to exist as Caucasian Christian entities(with their associated culture) if something isn’t done to alter course.

It’s as simple as demographics/birthrate.

Very sad - and very dangerous as well - as Islam(and their radical extremist groups)do NOT play nice with non-Muslims as is writ large by the innumerable accounts of their violence against innocents.

Growing Islamism In Europe Negatively Affects US Interests
