Rolex Four Seasons Daytona charity auction brings $49.4M

I think each watch is a 1of1 and will never be reproduced by Rolex. The platinum was expected to hit 20 million so some rich Saudi got a deal lol

Better. My wife and I both have a Rolex, not a $49 million one but we paid about $2500 for each of them around 2000 or so, and neither of them have ever kept time well. They "need" to be cleaned regularly and it costs about $600 to do it and when it is done they still do not keep time as well as a Seiko. Owning one is not about keeping time, its about owning one. I would get rid of them but my wife isn't into selling any kind of jewelry so our kids will get rid of them at a bargain when we reach room temperature. Ours are not gaudy, they are actually pretty nice looking, they are simply not great at keeping time.

While I, like most animals, will toot from time to time, I wear a watch and I have never rooted that I recall....and I am pretty certain I am not gay having lived 61 years without ever having the urge to engage in any sort of homosexual act.
