What a dose of the clap! I guess it’s on par for 2020 though.

The one positive is they did save this little guy that traveled 190 miles with the sad-looking tree. He is being rehabbed in a wildlife center, he hadn't had food or water for days.

That’s amazing. I think that’s a Northern Saw-whet owl.

The wasp knows his raptors. It is an adult BTW, I think they are the smallest owl in the US.

Did they get drunk and go on a night ride to choose the tree?

They want people to think America is sick and weak. Its symbolism. It's always their downfall.

Even the small one used by the ironworkers is shitty.

They tried to end it by taking away "CHRISTMAS" from its name...now PETA gonna have it shut down for destroying the home of a fricking owl.

I fricking hate where this country is headed

Crazy part about all this is that the tree actually came from someones backyard in upstate NY.

That sorry looking tree is a metaphor for the city it’s being put up in

I know this sounds like a dumb idea, but why don’t they just transplant a tree permanently there and decorate it seasonally.

That way they don’t have to kill a tree and steal an owl’s home for something that will only be up for 50 days and then be chopped up into mulch.

You would think the environmentalist wackos would seize upon this.

I don't think it's a dumb idea, but my guess is that a tree wouldn't get enough sunlight throughout the year to survive well.

I hate live trees for the destruction in the first place. I guess it is better that some get turned into mulch, but my guess most end up in a landfill
