Found this guy on Youtube. He is an investigative reporter out of Detroit Michigan. His segments are awesome. He goes after fraudsters of all types but most of them are unlicensed "contractors"
He even busted a Judge for not working and having an affair and shut down a tow company illegally towing people.
This is real journalism IMO

Super weird but I found that judge video randomly and watched it not fifteen minutes ago before I saw your post. What are the odds?

There needs to be more people who reports on unlicensed contractors. It would be cool if this is something that caught on and people from different areas would do it because there are some shady "contractors" out there.

I've watched most of his videos, he's awesome, and they don't see afraid of anyone, which is great. Just goes to show you the waste, fraud, and abuse that goes on, both Govt and private sectors.

If you search their channel, you will find several videos of him busting Chrysler workers drinking on their break between building cars.

Those contractors are shite bags, but people who hire them should do better when selecting a contractor. Like the one woman who put it on social media that she was looking for someone and the guy contacted her.
You don't want a contractor who reaches out to you for business. There is a reason they are available to do work. And before you hire them make sure they have a license. The best thing to do is go with someone you know has done work for people you know.
