This is stupid. The President is not a god. He's a person with flaws like anyone else. History has shown that the rulers who try to win your heart instead of your mind almost always lead you into oblivion.
I will continue to vote for who I think will help me the most legally and financially, and keep referring to the real God for moral guidance.

Trump definitely should not have said something like that. Faking it isn't any better, and surely we both agree James had a very different relationship with Reiner.
He shouldn't have said anything. Reiner was upset that the assasin missed. Nothing good makes sense, and nothing bad is wise. You just don't engage in this case.

This is unfair to Trump. His appeal is that he doesn't speak like a politician like Obama would. He speaks what's on his mind whether it's political correct or not.

How do you think Trump will be treated when he dies? I consider myself a flawed Christian man, and I have never changed my opinion of someone because they died and I don't expect that of anyone else.
Was the post stupid? Absolutely.
Do I think it's possible what Reiner told the public was different than what he tells those close to him? Probably. The dude was an actor.
Does that mean he deserves what happened to him, or that Trump is right in his posting? No.
