I wouldn't consider Clinton to be Trump's best friend.

Carry on.

You have 0 issue with Reiner and the like saying whatever they feel about Republicans to millions and millions of people, whether fact based or not.

But you get to decide on what and to whom the President can make comments. We either have free speech or we don't.

I think Trump should not have made those comments.

But I'm also not in his shoes and haven't had people like Rob Reiner call me Hitler for 10 years which resulted in a bullet passing 1/4 inch from my head. So there's that.

Again, and I can't say this enough times. Stop looking to another man to be your beacon of decency and good. That's not the job of the President of this, or any other country. Their job is to create policy that protects and moves forward their constituents.

well neither candidate (nor Biden before he dropped out) had any of that, so may as well vote for the one that doesn't support insane policies.

The Democrat party didn't have a primary but the Republican party did. Republicans had the opportunity to nominate a candidate that wasn't elderly and massively flawed on his best day. They chose Trump.

He's the leader of the "free world."

If he was a random 13 year old girl, it would fit, hes not. He's supposed to be the example for us.

And the men who hold high places
Must be the ones who start
To mold a new reality
Closer to the heart

No he isn't. He's supposed to lead by making moves to improve the lives of American citizens. Should I follow the exmaples of JFK and Bill Clinton? I'm sure my wife would love that.

Noone is buying this lie. The right is celebrating bombing vessels across theocean off Venezuela's coast to further their political coup against Maduro plan.

Even if you think (as I do) that he should be removed, that is the opposite of just wanting to be left alone.

You're confusing what "being left alone" means. It does not mean we don't want our military out there getting and eliminating bad guys (because we do). It means we want the government out of us law abiding citizens lives...less regulation, less taxes, less government in general.

Does this improve anyones life?

No... He couldnt stand Reiner getting attention and made it all about him. Like a fricking child.

Not having a primary and anointing a successor sounds like destroying democracy to me.

You are ate up with TDS. Maybe that's why you're so angry about this.

I noticed you glossed over my other examples of Presidential morality. Fitting

I don't think you comprehend how much the left despises Biden for what he did. Not only trying to run, but then naming an ineffective VP as "the chosen one".

If his values aligned with mine. Y'know, the separatinon of church and state thing. I don't go to mass at the Government Church of Christ

I know it blows lib minds, but you don't have to be 100% in lockstep with someone to vote for them

I don't look to my president to be "an example."

History is wrought with successful leaders who were utter failures outside of the specific role they were made famous for.
