Trump is such a fricking douchebag. I just don't get how people actually like the dude.

Always about him. Narcissistic POS.

The most frustrating part is its just a huge tactical error from Trump. The left's lack of humanity and their embracing of outright hatred for so many Americans is one of our biggest advantages over them with the swing voter.

Were you under the impression that Trump wasn't consumed with hate and had humanity before that post?

Should Trump be fired for his tweet?

Progressives just voted in a guy that openly stated he wanted to put bullets in the heads of KIDS of his political opponent. Dude won in a landslide too

Where was your outrage for that?

You have current Dem leaders that openly call for violence daily. You have a Muslim from MN in DC that openly brags about Muslim violence against US citizens then justifies it.

Were you outraged at this also?

I could do this all day starting with crap people like Maxine Watters said back in 2015 when she openly called for violence against Trump voters. Pelosi as well, and so on.

Again, Trump was wrong, but he is also WAY behind on the rhetoric lol

I also like how the “good people” here are doing the exact same thing as the “good liberals “ did for Kirk’s death

“I hated that piece of shite mother fricker, BUT I didn’t think he should die “

It’s just an awful fricking qualifier to just have to say with someone’s murder . Just say it’s awful

The left and right are more alike than they care to admit.

Just as I said about people who posted awful things publicly about Kirk:

They deserved to be fired and shouldn’t hold positions of influence

I'm not disagreeing with you, I think he shouldn't have posted at all. It's petty easy to make a decision like that.

I'm only saying that Trump's post is explosive and fed from the anger that's been consuming him after years of attacks.

That's why I'm saying this country needs something to focus on, other than political divisiveness. It's fully consumed a huge part of the population, including me.

I've done much better lately at stepping away from it, and intend to do even more in 2026. It's just not worth it.

I certainly don't ever want to be a Rob Reiner or a Trump when it comes to posting tweets like that. Reiner was consumed with it just as much as Trump.

Trump really needs someone to screen those posts, there's no way someone would have let him post that crap.

Dude, glad you're stepping away....shite is toxic. Important to read the news, of course, but frick all the bots, cable news, youtubers, etc, that make money off of our clicks.

ETA: Not Chicken, of course. He only makes money off the premium members.

That's like marrying a hot chick who's on death row. I mean, did she murder her ex-husband for not cleaning the dishes well enough? Well, sure, yeah. But she's SOOO MUCH hotter than the women I have a chance with.

Looks like the argument may have stemmed from Saturday and spilled into Sunday.

quote:

Rob Reiner, his wife Michele, and their son Nick attended Conan O'Brien's Christmas party Saturday night. At the party, Rob and Nick got into a "very loud argument," loud enough for many others to hear ... Reiner family sources tell TMZ. We're told Rob and Michele then left the party.

quote:

Our family sources add … Michele had been anguishing to friends over the last few months that she and Rob were at their wits' end over Nick's mental illness and alleged substance abuse issues, and did not know what to do with their son Nick … saying, "We've tried everything."

It's a symptom of just how tribal politics have become with social media so prevalent.

People, who probably feel bad that someone lost their life, feel the need to qualify their political allegiances so they don't get "owned" and ostracized by their own side for showing remorse that someone on the other side died.

It's fricking retarded.

Informed and intelligent voters don't cast votes for candidates we "like" we cast votes for candidates we feel will be "effective"
Like him or not when Trump is in office things more forward.

I don’t like the dude, but I voted for him.
The democrats are absolutely insane. I had enough of the wasted spending, woke shite, tranny clowns, gay stuff, pandering, grooming kids, lying, cheating, mandates, news media, lunatic white women, liberals, I mean list was long. It was an easy choice. Seems like an easy choice for millions as well.

I guess I'm just crazy to expect my fricking PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES to, ya know, show a shred of dignity, empathy, sympathy, not be a narcissistic piece of shite whose best friend was knowingly fricking underage girls. Eh, maybe it's just me who finds character jjuuussssttttt a smidge important when choosing who will lead the free world.

Me too...still wasn't enough to vote for the guy who wears makeup that would make a trans person blush.

It's more like hiring Lane Kiffin to be your coach instead of the well-liked assistant who the media fawns over but won't win you many football games.

Is it weird that I find it more grotesque that he used a knife? Such a personal method and to do it to your parents is truly sickening and demonic

I have often wondered what it would be like to switch bodies with someone like his son for a day and experience what it is like psychologically for people who act out in horrific ways like this. It’s really hard to fathom doing something like this regardless of your level of anger or mental illness. I would suspect that they totally disassociate from reality for a period of time while committing the crime. I wasn’t a fan of Reiner’s politics but I loved him on All in the Family and really enjoyed the movies he directed. It’s a sad situation all the way around.
