Whatever, either way, if the animals that tailgate around the parade grounds wouldn't kick over trash cans and porto potties after home games, then maybe they wouldn't have to resort to this. Serves them right.

Fraternities should just move their tailgates to/around their respective houses like DKE. Parade Grounds are obviously fricked.

So you're saying there are going to be a lot of non student tailgates, made up of everyone from the same frat or organization...but not an official student tailgate?

So what's the difference between an official student tailgate and a group of students, some of which happen to be in the same organization?
My guess is that exactly zero organizations abide these rules.
The way around it is have a tailgate without any affiliation. You aren't allowed to advertise outside of student organizations. If you don't claim anything, then you basically don't have to follow these rules.

Haven't been over there in a couple years. We used to tailgate out there a few years ago, but more towards nicholson ext. Though there was some trashy people out there, for the most part, people tried to concentrate their mess on or near trash cans if they were full. Since the last few tailgate parking changes, we moved on campus. We tailgate in a good spot, and everyone cleans up, but i have to walk by the parade grounds and that place is an absolute disaster.

Sounds like it only applies to frat stars...

we didn't ruin anything. Sorry you old balls have such sensitive ears. In Europe they sing songs calling each other teams goalie pedos. I think we can handle a few naughty words.
It makes you sound like a try-hard. But I guess that's kind of what you're going for

Just transfer to West Va where burning couches is allowed

Most people I know in that area are pretty good about picking up. We bring extra trash bags and hang them on the tents as well because 2-3 trash cans even for just our tailgate isn't enough. We've also gone out the next day and picked up everything we could from our spot when we didn't do as good of a job.

You think the pledges are going to get off without carrying all the shite out there?

as long as they don't call themselves pledges to any organization

Surely this won't have any unintended consequences...

most of the time, it's the under age students who end up forcing the administrations hands, because they act like jackasses.

Are they really going to walk around with a full student roster going from tailgate to tailgate looking for students? How's that going to work exactly?
Well they could have a scanner if you have your LSU ID on you. Also they could look at your Driver's License to see if you're an LSU student. I would only assume this would happen to underage drinkers

frat already shouldn't have been using fund for tailgates anyway per LSU's rules. These rules just gives cops more of a reason to bust up tailgates.
This probably won't changes much but hopefully it cleans up the parade grounds a little bit. It has been getting pretty damn trashy

I think this is a first step in the administration trying to control all tailgates. Not restrict alcohol but find a way to profit from each one. I know for a fact that Alexander said in a meeting last year that he considers every person that comes on campus on game day a "lost revenue opportunity." Specifically referring to people who tailgate but don't go to the game. The administration views those folks as free loaders who use resources but don't pay. Never mind that it is a public university paid for with tax dollars.

Law students bout to do work

They can't have much of a way to police this.
I mean, if you happen to be 12 people in the biology club tailgating, but you don't have a sign up saying "THE BIOLOGY CLUB TAILGATE", would anyone even have a freaking clue? This seems really pointless.

The changes wouldn’t impact non-students. She also said students who weren’t part of a student group’s tailgate wouldn’t necessarily be impacted.
“If you’re just a group of people with your family and some of your roommates getting together, no they wouldn’t have to register,” she said. “But if you’re the biology club, you would.”
