Yep. It took Dr. Grant for me to see him as not-Satanic. He really left an impression on me as a lad.

Dead Calm was a really good movie.
If y'all haven't seen the more recent family movie, The Hunt for the Wilderpeople, I highly recommend it.

He played that character very well. My favorite line from that movie was near the end when his character, Dr Weir said:
"Where we're going, we won't need eyes to see." It was done perfectly and really illustrated how screwed up things were going to get.
