Margarita? Although Jimmy would applaud you having a Maurita, as well

Also Slim Pickens, Elizabeth Ashley, Sam Waterston and Harry Dean Stanton. Great movie. I've only seen it once, in high school on the late show, but it made an impression because we used to vacation in and around Livingston Montana.

Somewhat poetic he passed at the end of the summer.

Had to listen his first Greatest Hits at least once a summer.

I corrected it. He was Alum of Auburn. He was from Mississippi. I was told a while back he was from Alabama.

My parents ditched one of my school plays as a kid to go to his concert. They took my toy shark with them. And, it never came back. And yet I still forgive them.

RIP in peace.

The DJ on Radio Margaritaville right now can barely hold it together right now between songs.

Frick the Poli Board uber MAGA types. However, I would guess Jimmy would chuckle and buy them a drink just out of principle.

Probably would write a song about it.

Damn. Saw him at Maravich assembly center sometime around 1990 with my (now) wife. RIP to a very smart guy that owned the single most profitable song ever written.

This hits me. The man made relaxing, fun, easy to sing songs. Radio stations never played his music and he still became one of the most popular solo artist ever without ever becoming sellout.

Huge respect to a life well lived.

Jesus. I’m trying my best not to cry and losing. God this sounds so good on a Saturday morning but would be better without tears.

Thank you so much Jimmy. You added the levity we needed and created an entirely new ethic for us Baws and gave it a soundtrack and it made our lives so much better.

RIP, hero.

Some here may not know this, but Jimmy Buffett actually attended Auburn for a brief time. He lived in a little house right next to the railroad tracks. My wife’s brother lived in it when he was in college.

Sail on, Jimmy. May it always be 5 o’clock in heaven.
