All these fools picking the guys head up and dropping it, filming, crowding, calling for police/help etc etc is disgusting to watch. This whole thing is disgusting. How could anyone ever willing be associated with those people?

What's the outcome of the shooter right now? Has he been arrested? Should like justifiable action, too bad he didn't hit more in the head.

I can't tell if the pic above this post is the actual shooter, but I've seen his picture a lot.

I'm hoping the shooter was able to avoid identification and faded off into the crowd.

In all reality, it's gotta be a terrible feeling knowing you actually killed a guy, but when you get backed into a corner, and it's you or him, dude made the right call.

I find it interesting that all of us Uber racist folks in the south aren’t the ones shooting each other in the streets.

Point me to the part of 2A that gives you the right to protect your property using deadly force.

Last I remember, it referenced your right to own a firearm, and protected from government attempts to prohibit; but you stated that "it was made for" protecting property.

Which is false.

You ever been in a city up north? Those people are delusional racists. I bet most of them have never shared a table with a black person.

imagine being the guy that got shot in the head and knowing you probably only have a few minutes to live. the next human you encounter and their skills and competence will likely determine whether you live or die.

and you look up and see the same worthless arse kids you were just doing hoodrat shite with coming to your rescue shining their phones in your face.

Dang. This is such a softball question.

quote:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

So what do YOU think the "Security of a free State" means? It means one can protect your life and property.

The right to defend oneself with a firearm is well established by the SCOTUS dating back to the 1800's.

quote:

From 1893 to 1896, the United States Supreme Court handed down a series of decisions involving self-defense and the carrying and use of firearms for self- defense. These cases laid the foundation for a 1921 opinion, authored by Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, that became the most important armed self- defense case in American legal history, upholding and extending the right to armed self-defense. In these Self-Defense Cases, the Supreme Court fought out a bitter confrontation with Federal District Judge Isaac Parker, the presiding judge in all but one of the cases, and a judge who is much admired today by Chief Justice William Rehnquist.

No, not at all.

Just curious how a court case would hold up when you shoot someone over property when your life isn't being threatened.

I don’t believe he is in custody. At least as of last night when I was watching it all go down. Amazing to see it happen in real time. He’s been id’ed though so it’s a matter of time till he’s brought in for questioning.

Link the old man that was beat to shite for trying to stop people destroying his business.

That will give our Democrat voters here some good fap material. Old white guy too, so they will instantly get a boner.

The catalyst of the Second Amendment was to ensure the protection of natural rights when the government fails to do so via direct tyranny or outside threat. Local and state governments have either tacitly or explicitly declared that they will not conduct their most basic function - protect the natural rights of their citizens - in the wake of these of riots.

So, yes, shooting someone who is threatening your private property because your government has declared that it will not protect it goes to the heart of the Second Amendment.
