quote:
a beat
You will often find a rhythm,
When your playing around with 'em,
But it isn't necessary or required,
Some would say it takes a skill,
To wield this thing at will,
Some have made it a career and are admired.

Here’s a riddle: Why would a nation let a doddering old man become president?

I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind.
What am I?
What am I?

I'll break it down
I'm giving you this riddle
And the riddle is a rhyme.
It's right there, a bit of a purloined letter
What marches to a beat,
With the tempo keeping time?
Rhyme/rhymes typically have a cadence, a rhythm
What matches as it marches,
Comes together in the end,
As the rhyme goes on they match each other to the cadence
It can wear so many faces,
But is lost without a twin.
There so many rhymes/ ways to rhyme, but without a match, it's not a rhyme, just a word
You can find it in the middle,
You can find it at the start,
You can have rhymes all over a piece of work, not just at the end
Can be clever when together,
But is meaningless apart,
Again, without an match it's just a word
As a half or as a hundredth,
Always different and the same,
You can have the rhyme repeat once or a hundred times or more
You can volley them for folly,
You can find them at a game,
Flyting, rap/rhyme battles, and sports chants famously rhyme. Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer?
Some can find them quite annoying,
CocomoLSU
Being brief's the soul of wit,
So I'll finish up this riddle,
And the answer? What is it?
