He’s the one who came up with it. Had a British version that was really popular with all the British assholes who live in Great Britain.

I thought Gervais was hilarious on the UK office but his laugh got a little bit old

YouTube supercut of laugh

Also thought it was funny when Michael Scott "met" him in one of his last episodes.

They should have one more award. It should be given to the person in the audience that ACTED like they were not offended/guilty.

I think it was a mixed bag. Some people were obviously not amused, some probably weren't amused but laughed to be polite or seem easygoing, and some outright enjoyed it. I think I spotted Adam Driver genuinely cracking up over the jokes.

I guess the people laughing genuinely were the only ones without a guilty conscience. Lots of them have known things that they spoken about publicly would have gotten them blackballed.

They can burn in hell too.

Man, that James Corden joke made me snort. I'm assuming he was referring to James's recent whining about Bill Maher "fat shaming".

"We all got to see James Corden be a fat pussy. He was also in Cats, but nobody saw that."

Regardless of your politics, just imagine the press reaction if those same lines had been said in a speech by one of President Trump's sons.

It was funny. But Norm MacDonald's hosting of the ESPYs is still the benchmark 2 decades later.
