Richard Lipsey trying to stop St. George

His anti-St. George website will be out soon. He is coordinating with the Mayor and Better Together to defeat St. George.
I think it’s terrible that all this money will be thrown around opposing an unincorporated area’s right to vote on whether or not they want to form a city.
Lipsey and the Mayor should be focusing on securing funding for our drainage canals. It’s not gonna matter what city you live in if the whole parish is under water.

Kinda wish StG could be seceding from EBT Parish (since that is the only way "Better Together" "Together Baton Rouge" and "One Baton Rouge" makes any actual sense).

It would be pretty funny for someone to bring up that, while she's trying to prevent rising violence in her city, the mayor teamed up with one of the largest firearm wholesalers in the country.

He has enough foresight to see St. George will just be another layer of bungled Louisiana government. The experiment will bring the whole metro area down a peg.
