Yeah. The title should read poor kids who don't pay for shite and kids who have parents that give a frick get festival, middle class kids with shite parents that don't pay $2 a day get shamed.

You have literally no idea what you are talking about with regard to me, how school cafeterias work, or the real world.

Again. Moron.

Then stop allowing kids to get that crap through the lunch line.

There are so many simple solutions to this “problem”. It’s absurd that schools are resorting to shaming kids.

No, but it does teach them a valuable lesson about the consequences of being a deadbeat....they should be thankful the school cares more about them than their parent do

I sometimes had an outstanding cafeteria debt, my parents weren’t deadbeats. Moron

Dude, lunch wasn’t even 50 cents when I was in school. Are you 80? It’s more like $3.50 a day now

Dude, it might cost 3.50, but you can bet your arse there's some tax subsidy that's funding that shite... and it just cost the family minimal... Maybe not 50 cents but you can bet they're not paying the total price for it..

Poor families get free lunches in most school districts. This isn’t about picking on poors. It’s appealing to the parents if they love their kids (which most do), they will pay their bill and their kids get to go. Probably gets most kids to bug their parents too.

This is some snowflake parent that is common these days unfortunately.

Works in the Marine Corps. Sounds like some kids need to have a towel party with their parents.

actually that's exactly what they were if they didn't pay their bills

per Webster

Definition of deadbeat

1 : loafer
2 : one who persistently fails to pay personal debts or expenses

People who support a consequence-free response for people who fail to meet obligations may be the biggest problem in this country.

Not if it's the kids own fault. I'll draw the line if this is a parental issue, but if it's trying to get free snacks? Yea shame the piss out of them. Our society needs fewer adults who think they can live off the earnings of others guilt free.
