I believe it’s a shithole. I believe drugged up zombies are littering the landscape with syringes and piss and shite.

Some opportunistic person is going to buy these mansions for a cheaper price. They’ll love liberals and swim in the shite that surrounds them all in the name of progress. Sensible people are leaving, but others will come in. Our only hope is that the people fleeing the area don’t take their votes with them to other states and cities...but I’m sure they will.

Also you're doing really good deflecting. Ignoring that other countries have UHC while also ignoring the problems of our own system

I hate to say it but these pictures sort of remind me of places under the bridges of Houston and New Orleans. I’m not sure how to fix this issue. I travel for a living and it’s rampant all over the country.

I’m conservative as it gets but a good many of these homeless absolutely can’t hold a job done. When I see a fellow having a conversation with himself it’s just hard to fathom that person working. My liberal wife would argue the state and federal government need to round these people up and get them all back on their meds and isolated in shelters to clean up the streets.

Seems like Stalin and Hitler hauled off the mentally ill and homeless and put them down. England threw them on a ship to Australia. Guess my solution is to round them up all over the country and dump them in Portland and Seattle.

They literally asked everyone to raise their hand if they support free healthcare for undocumented immigrants, and every one of them raised their hand. The immigration in the Us and in DK are on complete opposite sides of the spectrum.

You argued that I was saying that I want people to go broke from surgery and attacked that premise.

The real exodus is happening in San Francisco. Los Angeles hasn't seen much of a change in terms of home sales:

I read a long article from WSJ on the fleeing of California. Not one reason pointed out in article was based on the decline of the state because of SJW shite. It was because lock downs have shown people they don’t have to work in the city. Nothing to say about tax hikes, SJW, or riots. Weird why people are moving out of state though, if the state wasn’t bad.

Meh. California will be just fine. People have said this for years and housing prices keep going up. The mass exodus isn’t happening because everyday someone else chooses to move to the greatest state in the nation.

I totally agree. Not to mention that their economy was doing great before COVID and should rebound quickly.

A truly great state.

The bubble popped in 2009 and we surpassed previous peaks within 7 years. If it pops again it’s another buying opportunity for investments. More importantly, if it pops here it will pop everywhere but people will be wainting with cash to buy in the Bay Area. Same can’t be said for a lot of the Sourheast.

An easy way to verify this is to compare the one way rates of a uhaul truck out of LA to some other city vs the rate from that city to LA. Try with several cities or states.

You hate to see it. Sad thing is, those that are leaving will still vote the same in their new location as they did in CA.

TV bulletins are filled with horror stories from across the city; of women being attacked during their morning jog or residents returning home to find strangers defecating in their front gardens.
Strangers are only friends I haven’t met yet.

Exactly. People move out, others will move in. The population figures in Cali continue to rise damn near everywhere. It’s not because babies are being cranked out faster on the West Coast. A lot of the people that move are simply going to suburbs.

This just starts a gentrification cycle all over again. Your inner-city turns to trash (literally), prices plummet, someone buys property for dirt cheap and gets people to move in. Slowly raise rent, attract a higher clientele, etc.

A huge amount of the population growth out there is Hispanics and Asians from overseas / south of the border.

Whites are flowing out in large numbers to WA, OR, CO, TX, etc and being replaced by immigrants. It is why Cali has a net growth to the state but will still lose a House seat.

I've been to downtown LA. It looks more like Cozumel than California.
