Did the teacher and student say that that’s what they were depicting or did someone decide it was something terrible. I’ve seen tattoos more offensive than that…

To start, what would you say is the purpose of demonic possession, from Satan’s perspective?
You want to start here and not with the conundrum? Let's go....
Start at the top, what is the world, what is God and what is Satan really. You don't need to believe in a deity to observe, so walk with me through this.
Order: The universe functions on a complex, intelligible code - Eternal Law. We were built to do something, within that Order, but were given free will to reject that order, with Satan's help,- and we did. That choice creates "Original Sin," and disconnects us naturally from the Order. We are still called to the Order - that's what Christianity is - but we are vulnerable.
The Fall: For lack of a better word, Original Sin is like a virus, a stain if we are God's art, that we created for ourselves. So we now live in a Fallen world, where, really Satan actually has influence.
And it's constant. Severing man from God.
We can get into this too - but long story short - Satan's goal is to continue to divide man from God. Period. Everything is pointed at that goal, from his perspective. It started with Original Sin and continues today. This takes a variety forms, for possession it's about mocking God's creation, but again, most of the "Hey that dude on a Youtube video is possessed," is not possession, that's influence. Or, as Aquinas would say Ordinary Action vs. Extraordinary action.
Take Temptation. Pretty common. It is invisible, subtle, and aligns with an invisible force - not something people would ascribe to the Devil. "Greatest Trick," like you mentioned. Temptation, lust - are not ordered things, or better said, part of Original Sin was disconnecting the core parts of our nature, reason and will, from each other. Hence, Lust. They drive to disorder humans actively. So not the ranting Youtube lunatic, but that's normal everyday stuff. There's a ton here to dissect, I know.
Possessions - much more rare actually. For most people, the devil prefers you to be a comfortable, functional atheist than a writhing, levitating possessed person who might scare their family back to Church. See the aforementioned mentions of Screwtape Letters - great analysis of it.
But the goal is ALWAYS the same. Continue to disconnect Man from God. I'm going to guess there's no amount of evidence I could present to make you believe in exorcisms - and that's the point. Honestly, demonic possession is such a minor thing in the grand scheme of things.

Alex Jones talking about it. Say what you want about him but he is as credible as they come.
The second thing I would say is that his "source" if the X post in the OP, so no source at all really.

I’m not saying this didn’t happen, but when I google it, all I see is social media. The only “news organization” covering it that I see is Charisma Magazine Online.
You can’t be stupid enough to honestly expect outlets like CNN or ABC cover this. It completely goes against their political narrative.

1. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist
2. Spiritual warfare/demonic possession/etc are not only real, but common
Does the latter not utterly undermine the former?
1. That line is from The Usual Suspects, not the Bible. It’s pop-culture theology, not Scripture. The quote implies the devil’s power increases if people deny his existence.
2. Christianity does affirm spiritual evil exists and that deception is real. But “common” doesn’t mean “obvious.” The New Testament—especially Paul—talks about spiritual conflict mostly in terms of deception, false belief, temptation, and corrupt systems. It does not present theatrical possession as the default mode.
If you read the Gospels carefully, the dramatic possession scenes often happen when demons are reacting specifically to Jesus’ physical presence. They recognize him immediately and react. That’s a concentrated confrontation, not a description of everyday life.
#2 only undermines #1 if you assume visibility and influence move together. They don’t.
Something can be widespread and subtle at the same time. In fact, if deception is the strategy, subtlety would be the point.

I would rather be living in poverty to send my kid to a private school or stay at home and home school them before I put them in the public school system filled with that type of evil.

Part of the confusion here is that people are arguing against the Hollywood version of Satan instead of the theological one.
The Hollywood version is loud, theatrical, head-spinning, furniture-flying chaos. That makes for a good movie. It’s not how most Christian theology describes reality.
Biblically, the problem isn’t primarily “The Exorcist.” It’s much more ordinary. It’s deception. It’s temptation. It’s disordered desire. It’s the very human experience Paul describes: “Why do I do what I hate?” That tension isn’t about levitation — it’s about a will that doesn’t always cooperate with reason.
After the Fall, Christianity teaches that something in us is bent. We don’t need demons to explain every bad decision. We’re perfectly capable of choosing poorly all by ourselves.
So when someone on a forum throws out “that guy is possessed,” that’s usually rhetorical exaggeration, not a formal theological claim.
If you’re picturing Satan as needing constant theatrical possession to advance some grand plan, that’s the Hollywood script. The Christian view is far more boring and far more unsettling: subtle influence, normalized disorder, and humans who freely participate in it.
Like I said, subtlety is the point.

There would be tons of coverage if the story was true.
All of the right or alt-right folks would be covering it.
Alex Jones is desperately trying to cover it, but there's no story to cover. All he can do is retweet the original tweet and comment on it. Charisma Magazine Online is trying to cover it, but all they are doing is covering Alex Jones' retweet and the original tweet. There's no story.

The X post in the OP is about a MIDDLE SCHOOL with a MOLOCH MURAL in PAWTUCKET, RHODE ISLAND, in 2026.
That is NOT the same story as the story in the LINK from the ABC affiliate.
The linked story is about an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, not a middle school.
The linked story is about a SATANIC CLUB that was never created, not a mural that was painted.
The linked story is about a HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, incident, not a Pawtucket, Rhode Island incident.
The linked story is from 2022, not 2026.
The LINK is different on WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHEN.
How fricking dumb are you?
