Those film makers of Metropolis (1925) knew the truth.

They also called "Transhumanism" and the resurgence of the Tower of Babel in the same movie.

I first heard about it about a year ago and have read it and listened to the audiobook(narrator is fantastic)

There are additional books and papers written that analyze it as well.

Regardless if this tweet is real or just conjured up by the poster, the devil is fully aware of the human mind. Scary

Guaranteed it was a Marxist purple-hair who did it to tweak the sensibilities of local Christians.

This is exactly why I hate seeing the 10 commandments and prayer pushed in schools by our government officials. Freedom of religion applies to every religion.

Let kids pray on their own all they want while at school, stop trying to make it a school-organized event.

a lot of people don’t want to admit it but this stuff is 100% real

It’s why Jesus said And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. It wasn’t a metaphor it’s real and will resurface in full one day. There is no new evil

The Screwtape Letters

That reminds me of a genuine question I’ve been wanting to ask: it seems like most Christians simultaneously believe the following:

1. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist
2. Spiritual warfare/demonic possession/etc are not only real, but common

Does the latter not utterly undermine the former?

I think "the world" is used as non-Christians in this context. Preachers use "worldly", "of the world" and other similar terms to describe those perceived to be existing outside of Christian practices. In this scenario, the devil convinced those people he doesn't exist, but the Christians are wise to him.

So do demons only attempt to posses Christians? If not, wouldn’t that be giving up the game?

I believe Christians believe Satan can possess anyone in many forms. Possession doesn't necessarily mean The Exorcist, head spinning, crab walking type of possession. It could taken as any number of negative persistent emotions.

Sure, but I not infrequently see people reference, say, a video on Twitter with some crazy leftest acting insane and, seriously, saying that they believe that person is demonically possessed. If true, wouldn’t that kind of behavior draw attention to the devil’s grand plans, which he doesn’t want?

If the world continues to deny his existence, then I don't think any number of videos on Twitter are going to hold much sway.
