The Tundra's interior is kind of disappointing. So is the exterior.

Honestly the only thing I like about it is that it's a Toyota.

Review makes it sound line Toyota is largely content to provide a truck for people who already own a Toyota and not try for conquest sales.

You don't know the Toyota sales model?

MPG rating for the non-hybrid 3.5 TT are as follows
17-18 City
23 HWY
20 Combined.
Not terrible realistically I see it getting a little less, but you’re basically getting the same in city with the new engine as a 5.7 would get on the Hwy.

That's worse than I'd hoped

Was going to look at buying the wife one with a bed cover to replace the minivan.

I'm too big to fit in the other Toyota SUVs really and with 3 really tall kids I was hoping the truck would work out.

Well that makes no sense at all

Toyota seems to be more true to their estimates than Ford per say. So if it’s really 23 mpg Hwy that’s better than the Ford ecoboost which in my experience gets closer to 20 mpg Hwy.

Do what?! You don’t have a clue here or apparently drive a current a Tundra

I guess it's not ideal but better than dogshit. So its in the middle so its not enough of a difference to be a deal breaker imo. 2mpg better is great but its not a huge enough difference to sweat.

You could at least look at the images before you up your post count.

Why aren't they doing that new brogate on the back where you can set up your laptop and drink coffee off your truck?

I believe the hybrid max engine gets better mpg than that.

I have an irrational hatred for the fact that the Toyota emblem isn’t centered in the grille. The Chevy and GMC are the same way.

Looks centered in the pictures I have seen?

It will but how much better. I'm in the market for a new truck but if the MPG on the hybrid will be closer to the F150 Hybrid of 24/25 then I will wait the extra 6-9 months.

Plus the hybrid gets you a bunch more power. I test drove the Ford powerboost and it runs.

Idk what to expect out of the hybrid. There’s a screen shot of a test TRD Pro with the hybrid getting 5.3L/100km which translates to 44mpg. Of course I wouldn’t put too much stock into a screen shot of the dash. They could be letting it coast down hill for all I know.

My 5.3L V8 is beating that.

So the exterior is funky looking, the interior is garbage and it has bad gas mileage on a weak engine. Sounds like a real winner
