What happened to the Reveille? When I was at LSU back in the day 1979-1983, the Daily Reveille wasnt that bad.

Ronald Reagan was President for a few of those years. Americans were prosperous and happy.

At first I was torn on whether or not the code is racially discriminatory. Then I see No price tag on hats allowed. That one sealed it.

Don't be naive folks. Others have reported that some bouncers have admitted trying to keep the crowd light skinned.

It's literally the same article every fall.

Get some new ideas.

Since at the very least, 1992. Parking is the article next in line.

Back in 97/8, my roommate ("S" for these purposes) and I tripped up to Nashville for the inaugural Music Shitty Bowl.

S grew up in the North. Anyway, the night before the game we decided to frequent the many bars in that area which employ single mothers. We do our part.

After checking out Deja Vu, Showtime, Babes, and one other, S wanted to check out this one particular bar, but I could tell from the cars in the parking lot that our kind wouldn't be too welcome there. He didn't believe me and insisted that we check it out.

I shite you not, when we walked in the music stopped and everyone looked at us, just in Animal House.

wow, went to next story on the op ed piece, and it's a doozie. I'm sure that one went to 20 pages or more on here.

Title is great, but the comment is the best.

Opinion: Racism at Tiger Stadium

Why not go big with Topic, especially since your piece has zero credibility.

people much smarter than me have devoted their lives work to explaining to white people why everything they do is offensive

LOL What a piece of shite. It's up there with Vox,Salon, and Huffington in shite, race baiting articles.

So. This does not mean they don't racially discriminate. Kind of like the racist who will tolerate a few

fricking absurd that people think putting up a close about a dress code is racist. How is it not racist that they generalize an entire race and link them with a certain dress code.

It's been awhile so which bar is Reggie's in Tigerland. I knew Fred's and Sports(z) and there were two across the street that changed names almost yearly. Then there was Boggies (I think) up the street in kind of a residential area.

The Reveille staff should volunteer to provide free car rides to/from Reggies to anyone who lives in Gradere or North Baton Rouge.

Private business, private dress codes. Dress like that to a job interview and see how that works out

For the most part, it’s not fraternity guys. It’s not hipsters. It’s not video game nerds. Black people are the target of this policy, plain and simple.

This statement is racist as frick. This statement says that black people are separate from fraternity guys, hipsters, and video game nerds. According to the writer, black people can't be those things. Black people all must fall into one category where they wear wife beaters, big chains, and all white shoes. None of them can play video games, wear hipster clothes, or be in fraternities. That's inherently wrong and a very prejudiced view of black people. There are many clean cut, polo wearing black guys in fraternities (many in black fraternities, some in the other fraternities). Go play any video game and there will be black guys playing with you or against you. Go to class and tell me that all black people are the same. They're not. They dress differently, talk differently, act differently, and hang out with different people. Just like any other race of people

The dress code issue is a trash issue, not a black issue. Black people are in there all the time, but they're not the ones wearing wife beaters with a gun in the waistband of their ankle length basketball shorts and their asses hanging out. Anyone wearing that, white, black or other, is not getting in
