My last day at work! I have worked 41 years for the same company
and calling it quits today. I hope everyone has the opportunity to
experience this. Sadly, my wife did not.

Congrats, I plan on sailing into the sunset at 50. One year to go.

I am Gen X and i dont think many my age and younger will be able to experience retirement in our lifetimes.. i had to leave America for overseas just to have any hope of retirement.. im still working but if id stayed in the US id probably be looking at working til 85 years old .. Good luck out there yall

so there’s a job opening tomorrow?

I’m almost one year retired (April) and it is the best thing we’ve ever done for ourselves. Just got back from a three week road trip and heading out tomorrow for a weekend in Colorado. Kills me to hear about your wife because without her I wouldn’t even have considered packing it in. I would be worthless without her
