Yet again, another Bee writer just had a week's worth of work go down the tubes because reality is even fricking stupider than what they can come up with.

Its because somebody will buy it, that's why.

Oh I'm sure all the Masked Covidians are furiously masturbating over these and the chance they can keep virtue signaling even while eating.

Asinine. Emperor's new cloths.

Why do you think Mermaid Man is still alive? I think that the obvious answer is nose masking. That’s all the scientific proof I need. Can’t wait to get mine.
Clown world

I thought this was the Bee, especially with those ridiculous photos and the clown remark.

Is there any doubt now these masks are all about a visible sign of submission?

Unfortunately there is still so much stuff online that disproves the mask lie. Look at articles written before covid and you can disprove it. A couple of links below will provide particle size in microns.
If I can smell 409, a fire, coffee being brewed etc, than the mask is allowing viruses through. I would love for them to test their masks against Cayenne Pepper and then tell me how it stopped the virus.

Mask usefulness aside, using this as the basis for it is essentially proudly showing ignorance for all to see, equating “all things I can’t see” the same size. You list things that are molecules, a couple dozen atoms at the top end in size, and equate it to something well over a million atoms in size and multiple orders of magnitude larger in size.
You are literally hurting the anti mask push saying stupid shite like that.
Your list is showing discrete particles (and often a very wide range, the largest of which isn’t what is applicable to smells)

And yet his point still remains equally strong, because the masks producers themselves explicitly state their products aren’t made to filter covid-sized particles.

I’m not going to get drawn in a mask debate (I’m anti mask requirements) just because I called out someone equating being able to smell something as a test of the ability to filter viruses based on “research” into a water filter blog.
I’ll comment on this though: the claimed protection of masks isnt filtering the virus itself. It’s filtering the flying droplets containing millions of viruses.

But your calling out of him did nothing to refute his point. The molecules he is smelling are too small to be filtered by pieces of cloth and the vast majority of masks being used, just like covid particles.

If that’s true mask requirements should’ve been in place before LONG before 2020, they should never be removed, and masks that actually do filter virus sized particles should be required.

sure it is because he is arguing a strawman
