why isn't 4chan banned? They had more to do with causing the shootings than the actual gun itself.

Even myself, as a diehard 2A supporter, doubt we will ever see door-to-door confiscation. Who the hell would sign up for that?
I do know that all firearm registration leads to confiscation though.
As for the mental health part, I am on the fence about it. The terms of "mental health" can eventually be pushed to mean anything. You have severe bipolar disorder? You can't own one. You take pills? You're depressed and can't own one. You have mild anxiety? You can't own one.
What I have noticed in recent years is that people are realizing that the only one responsible for your safety is yourself. And I have gotten numerous calls to teach people(I'm a firearms instructor). Like record numbers in the past year.

The bullet on the left is the .223 - compared to a 30-06 on the right. This is scale, or close to it. The .223 is most commonly fired in an AR15, although it can be configured to fire larger or smaller caliber bullets.
The 30-06 has been known as a standard hunting round for over a hundred years.
The .223, although smaller, is known as a varmint, or small animal round.

The worst site not on the deep web. It's like a reddit for the worst of the worst. A free for all.
This is not the first time 4Chan has been involved in stuff like this. There was a murder a couple of years ago where the guy basically posted pics through the entire process of hunting down and killing his gf. Ended the thread with pics of her dead on a bed.
I have an off the charts tolerance for terribleness but 4chan is pretty incredible.
