The McMichaels were not cops. TheMcMichaels did not personally witness the trespass.....they saw it on a non live video feed. Then as Arbery was jogging or walking or skipping down a PUBLIC thouroughfare a pick up truck containing the father and sone drives past Arbery and then blocks access to the street. The eldet McMichael then gets out of his truck,with a shotgun drawn. Meanwhile the junior McMichael was in the bed of the truck with his pistol drawn. McMichael claims he said,"we just want to talk", but of course he wants to talk while openly carrying a firearm while trying to conduct whay would necessarily be a law enforcement duty.

Under GA law, Arbery seeing two men who are NOT law enforcement, do not present badges or have vehicle markings indicating law enforcement defend himself or flee . Arbery is under no obligation to retreat and is justified in enacting what was an ill thought out but legal action in attacking McMichaels in an affirmative defense.

McMichaels'engaged in a text book description of Aggravated Assault, attempted Kidnapping,illegal detention thst culminates in what can only be described as involuntary manslaughter.

That is bad enough but what the DA in conjunction with the Police Chief was to sanction a vigilante posse. From a federal standpoint, the establishment of said posse could technically be defined as a state level sanctioned terror group.

If you are a prosecutor this is a slam dunk case. If you are the DA I am buying vaseline for my upcoming sojourn as a guest in a Federal Penitentiary
