This was easy to find from the Harris County Clerk's Office
Aggregated Assault with a deadly weapon
Multiple arrests for cocaine possession
Multiple thefts
Dude did not deserve to die on that day. I can also see where cops would run his information, see his record, and immediately go into a more proactive mode to secure his compliance.
At some points in life, your past matters.
people will hate what I'm about to say, but this man meant so much more in death than he ever meant in life.

So people can't rehabilitate themselves and become better people? Do you have any more recent records? Seems after he served his 5 year sentence he committed himself to being a better person. Don't believe he's had any arrests since he moved to MN in 2014.

If cops can't deal with already restrained civilians, even with past criminal history, without killing them - then they shouldn't be cops. It's pretty simple.
I don't care if he was a serial killer with 100 bodies to his name - once he was in handcuffs and on the ground knocked the frick out he didn't pose a threat at all.
Shitty cops that wanted to defy the onlookers and let them know they were the ones in charge.

You were in that other thread supporting high school and middle school kids being doxxed for their social media posts, effectively ruining their college careers - but you will be the first in line to say a violent felon had changed his ways and was a good man.
And I agree with Pettifrogger - Chauvin deserves every bit of the charges he has. The way Floyd died was horrible. But it is ridiculously hypocritical for you to be holding the positions you do on when a person is “rehabbed.”

Police Officer, should have been fired long ago by a corrupt mis-managed democratic led local government. Strangely enough the same peeps that now want to tell us how we need to re-structure law enforcement.
The story has been corrupted by Political Forces to bucket people that cannot think in anything more than DUALITIES right before an important election.
The whole thing stinks.
