the people involved in a message matter. If Rosa Parks had been a prostitute, she would not have got as much attention for sitting in the back of the bus.

I appreciate your candor.
I also agree that unnecessary police force is THE REAL ISSUE. however, that is not the national issue anymore. Once again, the puppet masters have used a black cause to their advantage. That sucks for them.

Philander castile was the most outrageous imo. He was a school cafeteria worker with a legal gun with his family. The guy really just ran a stop sign/traffic signal.

Don't argue with some of that. The "militarization" of the police is pretty overblown, I think. Our road patrol uniforms, while they look good, are more dress uniform than functional. I'd like to see our unis become more tactical, if anything. And the special weaponry is just that. I've been road patrol my entire career (25 years) and I've seen our "Hulk" - the SWAT team's armored car - maybe a half dozen times.
And law enforcement and the military, while being effective, will never be efficient. Both entities need to prepare and budget for "worst case scenarios" that may never occur. Now, are there things we spend money on that can be trimmed/reduced/eliminated? Heck, yes. And the public ought to be involved in the oversight of those things. It's the taxpayers' money, after all. But, just realize, when we are expected to respond to, and be prepared for, almost any exigency; there is going to be fat in the system.
